The Art of Accessories exhibition at Cavendish Square
Cape Town, November 1 to 5: A display of cutting edge fashion & accessories will be exhibited by young SA based designers from the Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion between 1 st and 5 th November at Cavendish Square in Claremont. The fashion installation will form part of The Art of Accessories, a week long series of fashion events within the shopping centre.
As well as providing a chance to see the work of South Africa's future fashion stars the installation will also introduce Cavendish shoppers to the new trend of techno-fashion: fashion design shaped around technology. The merging of technology and fashion is a growing phenomenon internationally, with designers and fashion companies such as Dolce & Gabanna and Levis producing products that appeal equally to consumers' love of fashion and gadgets.
The designs will be on public display at Cavendish Square shopping centre during normal opening hours. The Art of Accessories, a series of fashion events at Cavendish between 1 st and the 5 th November also includes: Children's Jewellery making, personal shopping workshops, summer fashion trend displays and live photo shoots.
