The academic year begins in February. Entry requirements are as follows:
- A copy of your latest academic report.
- An A4 page essay on why you are interested in Fashion Design and where you see yourself in the future.
- 3 Pieces of creative work. (A4 size life drawing and/or fashion drawing, and/or textile design, sketch, collage. If you have not done any art work then any 3 items that you have created or crafted yourself). Photographs or photocopies of your work will also suffice.
We will let you know within two weeks of receiving your application whether you have been accepted. Places at the academy are reserved on a first come, first served basis. We do have contact numbers for accommodation if required.
This is a three year full time professional fashion design course. A student’s work is assessed throughout the year and exams are set in June and at the end of the year. You will receive mid-year and end-of-year reports verified by an external moderator. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact the academy.
