We strive to produce a caliber of designer who is ready to enter the fashion industry with the utmost expertise and confidence.

The Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion design on the outskirts of Stellenbosch nestles between the vineyards and mountains of the Boland. Students enjoy a serene working environment with spectacular panoramic views, from Simonsberg in the North-West right around to the distant landmark Table mountain in the South.

This, coupled with the caring, approachable attitude of lecturers and staff and their holistic commitment to the training, growth and development of their students, creates a nurturing-ground for vibrant young talent which is unparalleled in the country.

Proud past students have gone on to take their place in the national and international fashion scene, each finding their niche, whether it be as the owner of a successful small business or as part of a famous fashion- house such as Armani.

The academy aims to provide its students with a creative understanding of the design process as well as thorough comprehension of garment development and manufacture across the spectrum of disciplines from men's wear to children's wear to exiting , expressionistic world of high-fashion couture.

Design training takes place the context of rigorous grounding in the associated technical and economic realities. By examining the vital relationship which exist between technical application and innovation, the students have a unique opportunity to explore bold, creative approaches to technical problem - solving.
