| When students arrive at the Elizabeth Galloway Academy
of fashion
Design they set out on a journey of discov
ery and self-discovery.
Fashion is about how we as individuals, societies and cultures see
ourselves and how we choose to express that perception. With this
in mind we make a point of approaching the whole learning experience
from a holistic perspective, placing as much emphasis on the personal
development of students as on their acquiring the broad range of skills
necessary to be a competent role - player in the world of fashion
in all its forms. Along the journey, each new task and new skill learned,
is placed in this context so that students at all times have a good
overall grasp of the whole process, "from concept to consumer". |
